Registration and Cancellation Policy
The present terms and conditions apply to The Access Lift and Handlers Conference 2020 (ALH-C 2020), taking place on October 23, 2020 at the Loews Chicago O'Hare Hotel, 5300 N River Rd, Rosemont, IL 60018, US.
1. HOW TO BOOK
Participants can buy places at the ALH-C 2020 at www.alh-ca.com. Payment is made by bank transfer or by credit card (Visa, MasterCard or American Express) as part of the registration process. No registration is effective until payment has been received and processed successfully.
Fees paid by participants cover, as appropriate, admission to the ALH-C 2020 all the conference sessions, lunch and coffee breaks during the conference and evening networking drinks.
2. CONFIRMATION OF REGISTRATION
An email confirmation of registration/acknowledgement of payment will be sent to each registrant upon receipt of payment together with an invoice. Delegates are asked to bring a copy of the confirmation.
3. CHANGES OF PARTICIPANT
Organisations/companies who have purchased places can change names of participants until September 23, 2020, free of charge.
4. CANCELLATION POLICY - CANCELLATION BY THE PARTICIPANT
Participants can cancel their registrations until September 23, 2020. Until that date, payments received by KHL will be refunded (limited to the amount paid by the participants), minus a fee of $50 to cover administrative and banking costs. Refunds will be handled after the event.
In case of cancellation after September 23, 2020 or in case of no-show, no refunds will be made.
5. CANCELLATION POLICY - CANCELLATION BY THE ORGANISER
If the organiser cancels the event for any reason other than force majeure, registration fees are refunded to registered participants. However, refunds are limited to the amount paid by the participants. The organiser is not liable for any other loss or expenses incurred by participants as a consequence of the cancellation.
In the event that the ALH-C 2020 would be cancelled, postponed or relocated on account of fire, flood, riot, earthquake, civil commotion, decisions taken by the national and/or local authorities, weather conditions, strike, lock-out, labour disturbances, explosions, sabotage, accident, terrorism, war, acts of God or any other causes or casualties beyond the control of the organiser, no refund shall be made. Participants to the ALH-C 2020 waive all claims for damages in this case.
6. MARKETING & PR
By attending the event you are giving KHL and its partners permission to use photographs and/or footage of you at the event, for marketing and promotional purposes, including on social media and editorial use. If you are booking on behalf of someone else, you confirm that you have gained their consent for this aspect of the Terms & Conditions.
