Al Halvorsen

Vice President of Sunbelt's ESG program

 

TOPIC: Creating and Implementing a Successful ESG Program

 

Al Halvorsen is the vice president of environmental, social and governance (ESG) at Sunbelt Rentals and is responsible for creating and implementing the organizations’ ESG efforts across their North American network that includes more than 1,075 locations.

 

In his role, Al is leading the efforts to drive improved environmental stewardship both internally and externally with our customers through investments in high efficiency delivery fleet, lower emission and alternative fueled rental equipment, and improved energy efficiency at our branch locations.

 

Al has a wealth of knowledge with more than 20 years of experience in environmental sustainability at Frito Lay and Pepsi Co. He holds a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in electrical engineering, both from Arizona State University.
